This Autumn Palais de Tokyo brings together a group of artists from the French art scene.

Palais de Tokyo has turned into a thriving planet, alive and absorbing everything that is near it. We got the impression that artist had occupied the building for a couple of years and when they left, their belongings, their trash, their objects where turned into pieces of art that told the story of each one of them as they tried to survive in an ever-changing atmosphere. We have always looked at the expos held in the Palais de Tokyo as individual exhibitions, trying to find exactly what the artists bring from the outside to the inside. This time they seem to have done everything inside, as clans. Each one in its own way, constructing its own little space inside this great palace. A war perhaps? I will let you decide this for yourselves.

Este otoño, el Palacio de Tokio reúne a un grupo de artistas de la escena artística francesa.

Artistas nacidos entre los años treinta y noventa, pero que viven y trabajan siempre, en y con su época. Todos conectados de cierta manera a Francia.

El Palacio de Tokio se ha convertido en un planeta próspero, vivo y absorbe todo lo que se le acerca.

Tuvimos la impresión de que los artistas había ocupado el edificio durante un par de años y cuando se fueron, sus pertenencias, su basura, sus objetos se convirtieron en piezas de arte que contaban la historia de cada uno de ellos mientras intentaban sobrevivir en un ambiente siempre cambiante. Siempre hemos visto en el Palacio de Tokio las exposiciones como individuales, tratando de explicar lo que los artistas traen desde afuera hacia adentro. Esta vez parecen haber hecho todo dentro y en forma de clanes. Cada uno a su manera, construyendo su propio pequeño espacio dentro de este gran palacio. Una guerra talvez? Lo dejó decidir a ustedes.
