Whole is an organic design brand that has mastered the hand dyeing techniques using dried, fresh or extracted colours from plants.

I discovered Whole just passing by on a sunny day in Paris. The store had very earthy and soothing colours that gave a very warm vibe. One could almost feel in-house in the desert of México or California. Very cool place and all the products they sell are organic, handmade in the workshop and specially design for Whole.
Inside
What Lucie explained to me (this really nice I meet inside the store) is that they work with dyes that are made in Paris coming from plants and natural products.
Each colour is extracted from the plant by means of an organic process inside the workshop and then tested until the perfect balance is obtained.
The textiles
Biological textiles for children and for the house are all handmade in France, respectful of the environment, they do not use any plastic and reuse all the waste.
A commitment to the environment
Working with local artisans who are committed to the environment and quality as much as they are. Always taking care of the origin of each element that they use in their workshop to provide a complete experience and making sure everything is made in France.
The confection and knitting are made in a perimeter of 50km. The sewing workshop is a job integration project ESS.
Colours
Wood, hazelnut, cacao to oranges, flowers even rocks are some of the plants and natural products used to achieve this colours.
They are kept in jars and boiled at high temperatures, mixed and tested on the textile until the right colour is found. You can really feel the nature at it’s in this place
The Workshop
This workshop has courses in groups of 7 people almost daily, where they teach us how to make our own dyes and apply them in the right way to the textiles allowing us to create movement or varied textures. A pamphlet with detailed instructions is given along with an organic textile giving us the best out of this experience.

Descubrí que Whole acaba de pasar en un día soleado en París. La tienda tenía colores muy terrosos y suaves que daban un ambiente muy cálido. Uno casi podría sentirse internamente en el desierto de México o California. Todos los productos que venden son orgánicos, hechos a mano en el taller y especialmente diseñados para Whole.
Dentro
Lo que Lucie me explicó (esta chica que conocí dentro de la tienda) es que trabajan con colorantes hechos en París que vienen de plantas y productos naturales.
Cada color es extraído de la planta por medio de un proceso orgánico en su taller y pues a prueba hasta encontrar el balance perfecto.
Los textiles
Los textiles biológicos para niños y para la casa que utilizan son hechos en a mano Francia respetuosos con el medio ambiente, no utilizan ningún plástico y re-usan todos los desechos.
Trabajando con artesanos locales que están comprometidos con el medio ambiente y la calidad tanto como ellos. Siempre cuidando el origen de cada elemento que utilizan en su taller para proporcionar una experiencia completa y asegurarse de que todo esté hecho en Francia.
Los colores
Las plantas que usan van desde madera, avellana, cacao hasta naranjas, flores e incluso rocas.
Se mantienen en jarras y se hierven a altas temperaturas, se mezclan y se prueban en el textil hasta que se encuentra el color correcto. Realmente puedes sentir la naturaleza en este lugar.
Los cursos
Este taller cuenta con cursos en grupos de 7 personas casi diario, donde nos enseñan a hacer nuestras propias tinturas y aplicarlas de la forma adecuada en los textiles para crear movimiento o texturas variadas. Un panfleto con instrucciones detalladas es dado junto con un textil orgánico para obtener lo mejor de esta experiencia.
